Come now,

See the world through my eyes

In my artistic journey, I find myself irresistibly drawn to the innate beauty that surrounds us. With watercolor and oil as my primary mediums, I embark on a quest to capture the fleeting moments of presence. Much of my work is born outdoors, in the midst of life itself. I also like to express in graphite, charcoal, and ink, particularly during figurative sessions with live models. Speed is of the essence in my process, as I strive to preserve the spontaneity and energy of movement within my works.

Plein air painting also offers me a chance to immerse myself in the vibrant pulse of city life or the serene tranquility of the countryside, to engage in friendly exchanges with passersby, and if I am lucky, to bask in the gentle caress of sunlight upon my face - all of which adds to my work. Having experienced the quiet vistas of southern India and the majestic landscapes of Alberta, Canada, I am now eagerly delving into the timeless architecture, quaint homes, graceful bridges, and inviting parks of Ottawa.

My creative journey is fueled by a deep admiration for artists across time and space, yet it is the passionate spirit of the impressionists and tonalists that resonates most profoundly with me. Their dedication to capturing the ephemeral essence of existence mirrors my own artistic philosophy. Through my art, I endeavor to invite viewers to pause, to contemplate, and to find solace in the transient splendor of both the world we inhabit and the world that inhabits us..
